(2nd and 7th) are Marak houses, so the exchange should be especially between auspicious planets or Shubh Grahas for better results, present in an individual’s A diagram showing exact position of planets in signs at time of birth of an individual prepared with the help of time, date and place of birth.
Auspicious exchange Yoga results may be produced by the following planets:

The exchange Yoga between other planets whether it is auspicious, less auspicious or inauspicious, may vary according to their ownership and strength or characteristics.

The person will be very lucky related to the progeny and self.

The third house involved in Kahala Yoga represents courage and hard work. Kahal yoga is formed when there is a mutual exchange between the sign lord of 3rd house and the sign lord of one of the auspicious houses i.e., 1st, 2nd, 4th 5th, 7th, 9th, 10th or 11th house from ascendant.
Explanation: In Kahala yoga, the mutual exchange is only between sign lords of 3rd house and an auspicious house, i.e.1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 9th 10th or 11th house, it is obvious that lords of 6th, 8th, 12th houses are not involved. There are eight possible Kahala Yoga.
Example: Suppose Aries is the ascendant, 3rd sign Gemini’s ruling planet Mercury is in 10th house and 10th sign Capricorn’s ruling planet Saturn is in 3rd house, in an astrological birth chart or a person, Kahala Yoga is formed due to mutual exchange.
A person born with Kahala Yoga will be courageous and hard working.
Results of Kahala Yoga are as follows:
The third house represents courage or hard work. This means the person will have to struggle hard to improve his condition. There will be fluctuations in life.
The person will be very prosperous or driven to poverty, will face lots of difficulties but manage in all the situations very efficiently and be prosperous with his/her own efforts and hard work. Sometimes he/ she will be harsh and sweet in the speech at other times.
Note: In both Maha Yoga and Kahala Yoga, inauspicious house lords (Bad or inauspicious places (6th ,8th ,12th houses)) i.e.,6th, 8th, and 12th houses from ascendant are excluded from the exchange.
In Dainya Yoga one of the inauspicious house lords i.e., 6th, 8th, 12th house lords is involved in the mutual exchange.
In Vipareeta Raj Yoga both the inauspicious house lords (Dusthana lords) i.e., lords of 6th, 8th or 12th house are involved exclusively, in a mutual exchange of two planets.
Dainya means poor or miserable. Dainya Yoga will give its results during the Dasha or Antardasha of the house lords and their positions, involved in it.
When one of the involved sign lords is lord of an inauspicious house or Dusthana bhava, i.e. 6th, 8th, 12th and other one belongs to an auspicious house i.e., 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 3rd house from ascendant, Dainya Yoga is formed.
The mutual exchange between 3rd and any of inauspicious house lords, i.e. 3rd and 6th house lords or 3rd and 8th house lords or 3rd and 12th house lords are considered Dainya Yoga, not Kahala Yoga.
Note: Kahala Yoga is always between 3rd and an auspicious house lords.
Explanation: When one of the planets involved in the yoga is the ruling planet of 3rd, 6th, 8th or 12th house and the other one is the ruling planet of an auspicious house, Dainya Yoga is formed. The auspicious house in mutual exchange may be damaged, up to some extent.
Generally, 6th, 8th, and 12th are considered unfavorable houses but these houses will be strengthened due to the influence of the auspicious house.
Example: Suppose ascendant is Gemini and ruling planet Saturn of 8th house(Capricorn) is in 10th house and ruling planet of 10th house (Pisces) Jupiter is in 8th house, career of the person will be damaged up to some extent while 8th house will be stronger, and the person will inherit hidden asset.
Results of Danya Yoga: According to Vedic Indian text, the person born with Dainya Yoga will be a fool, will criticize others and will be indulged with sinful deeds. His speech will be harsh and his mind will not be stable. He will always be in trouble from enemies or face obstacles in some of his ventures.
There is thirty possible Dainya yoga, six of them are actually Vipareeta Raj Yoga, and thus there are only twenty-four Dainya Yoga in all.
Another kind of Parivartana Yoga is as follows:
Vipareeta Parivartana Yoga:
This auspicious exchange Yoga is a powerful yoga formed by sign lords of only two inauspicious houses (Dusthanas).
Explanation: Vipareeta Parivartana Yoga or Vipareeta Raj Yoga is formed due to mutual exchange (Parivartan) between any two sign lords of inauspicious houses (Dusthana bhava) i. e. 6th, 8th or 12th house from ascendant.
In Vipareeta Raj Yoga, there is no involvement of sign lords of auspicious houses, but it is a beneficial and positive exchange Yoga formed due to the mutual exchange of energies of two negative houses.
These sign lords should not be in A planet posited in specific degrees in a sign with fall in power and energy is known as its debilitated sign. This is the 7th sign from the sign of exaltation and opposite to exalted signs (Neech Rashi) as this will not be a strong Vipareeta Parivartana Yoga due to debilitated signs.
Results of Vipareeta Raj Yoga: Vipareeta Raj Yoga is a powerful yoga and gives positive and auspicious results beyond one’s expectations. The person will achieve success and prosperity even in adverse circumstances.
In Indian Vedic astrology, this is the 1/9th divisional chart (varga), powerful and the most important of 16 charts (varga), mainly related to marriage prediction. Predictions are made through position of planets in various houses of Navamsha chart, quite similar to the judgments are given according to the position of planets in different houses in astrological natal charts. This chart is not used in western astrology Parivartana Yoga
If two Navamsha lords mutually exchange their positions and occupy each others house, Navamsha Parivartana Yoga or Raj Yoga is formed. This is an auspicious and very powerful yoga and strengthens both the houses to produce auspicious results.
Explanation: In Navamsha Parivartana Yoga, the Navamsha lords of two houses, in Navamsha chart, mutually exchange their houses instead of sign lords of the birth chart.
Example: Suppose in the Navamsha chart, the ascendant is Leo, 4th house lord Mars and 5th house lord Jupiter are in mutual exchange, Navamsha Parivartana yoga is formed.
Results of Navamsha Parivartana Yoga: Person born with this yoga will enjoy prosperity and good luck related to the houses (Bhavas) involved in it. The person will have good houses, expensive conveyances due to strong 4th house. He will have very lucky children, with a bright career and prosperous life, due to a strong 5th house.
Nakshatra Parivartana yoga
When two Nakshatra (A group of visible stars making a figure and visible at the night sky. Constellations (Nakshatras) are 27 divisions of zodiac, each measuring 13.20'. They are also termed as Lunar mansions (Nakshatra in Indian Vedic astrology)) lords mutually exchange their positions, Nakshatra Parivartana Yoga is formed.
Explanation: Two ruling planets of constellations mutually exchange their positions and occupy each others house. Here sign lords are not involved but constellation lords are involved in a mutual exchange.
Example: If the ascendant is Taurus,5th house lord Mercury is in 4th house in Uttara Phalguni constellation(Leo), Sun being its constellation (nakshatra)lord; 4th house lord sun is in 11th house in Revati constellation(Pisces). Mercury is its constellation lord, the mutual exchange is between two constellation lords (Sun and Mercury), not in two house lords (4th and 5th), both 4th house and 11th house gain strength due to the mutual exchange of Nakshatra.
In the above case, the results will be mainly available during their planetary Dasha and Antar Dasha.
Results of Nakshatra Parivartana Yoga:
This is an auspicious and powerful yoga. Both the houses involved are strengthened during the period of their running Mahadashas and Antar-Dasha(which keep repeating) and produce good results, throughout life.
Karaka Parivartana Yoga or Significators exchange yoga
When Karaka or the significator of two houses mutually exchange their houses, Karaka Parivartana Yoga is formed.
Explanation: Energy of one house is mutually exchanged with the energy of other houses, thus the significance of both the houses is also exchanged.
Example: Suppose Aries is the ascendant and mutual exchange is between 5th and 9th houses, here 9th house lord Jupiter is Karaka of luck and 5th house lord Sun is Karaka of progeny.
Results of Karaka Parivartana Yoga: Luck prospects for both self and Progeny will be excellent. Efforts will bring prosperity and success in life.
